Committing to diversity, equity and inclusion
Antin strives to promote and maintain a diverse, inclusive, and stimulating work environment where employees are treated with dignity and respect, valued for their differences, and empowered to succeed.
Since inception, Antin has focused on welcoming talent from a diverse pool of backgrounds and now counts over 30 nationalities within our firm. We hold the strong belief that a diverse and inclusive workforce stimulates innovation, helps make better-informed decisions, and, ultimately, leads to improved business outcomes. We also believe that, in the infrastructure sector, a broad set of skills and a diverse mix of cultural backgrounds are essential to access and build trust with local participants in country-specific markets.
Antin is a member of North America-based Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA)’s Diversity in Action Initiative. As a signatory, we participate in regular roundtable discussions, working groups and surveys to provide the industry with greater transparency on the state of DEI today and on DEI best practices that will move private markets forward.
Continuing career development
Training and development are essential to ensuring that employees have the relevant knowledge and skills to perform their work. It is also an effective means to improve employee morale and satisfaction and boost productivity.
Antin endeavours to ensure employee development and career advancement. To guarantee employees’ needs are understood and met, we conduct bi-annual reviews for all employees. We also hold trainings on ad hoc issues as they arise and provide room for employees to voice interest in specific trainings. Our newly formed mentorship programme is aimed at further improving career development opportunities.
Ensuring employee wellbeing
Antin knows that people are our single most important asset. Ensuring employee wellbeing, satisfaction and development, along with workplace diversity, equity and inclusion, are vital to Antin’s overall competitiveness and success, both today and in the future.
Antin maintains robust employee wellbeing and satisfaction policies, covering paid time-off, maternity and paternity leave, anti-harassment, and equal opportunity. Creating an honest and fulfilling work environment is key to guaranteeing employee engagement and motivation, and, as a result, employee attraction and retention.
