Antin Infrastructure Partners appoints Francisco Abularach as a Senior Partner

Formerly Global Co-Head of Infrastructure at Citigroup, Francisco Abularach brings to Antin his extensive experience and unparalleled network in the infrastructure sector

Antin Infrastructure Partners, one of the world’s leading infrastructure investment firms, announces the appointment of Francisco Abularach as a Senior Partner.

Mr. Abularach is a recognized leader in the infrastructure sector. He brings over 25 years of experience at Citigroup, where he spearheaded the bank’s focus on infrastructure and led the execution of strategic transactions across the asset class, including in utilities, energy, transportation, telecommunications and healthcare. Mr. Abularach was most recently Global Co-head of Infrastructure at Citigroup. From 2012 to 2019, he was European Co-head of Infrastructure. He holds a BA from Bucknell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

His appointment follows Antin’s recent announcement of the addition of several senior professionals to work on a new initiative focused on next generation infrastructure opportunities. Mr. Abularach will join the firm in London before relocating to New York next year, where he will join Senior Partner Kevin Genieser – who continues having administrative responsibility of the New York office – to jointly lead investment efforts for Antin’s flagship funds.
